Andrew Richards

Bio

Before co-founding SPC in 1996, he directed the private equity investment program in consumer products for William E. Simon & Sons. Earlier in his career, Mr. Richards was an investment banker at PaineWebber, Inc., where he specialized in emerging growth companies. Mr. Richards serves as Chairman of Frozen Specialties, Inc., Lavo, Inc., Ideal Snacks, Inc., Pineridge Bakery, Inc., and is the past Chairman of Eagle Pack Pet Foods, Inc., Liberty Brand Products, Inc., Nonni's Food Company, Inc., S.T. Specialty Foods, Inc., and is a Director of Applegate Farms, LLC, Merrick Pet Care, Inc., and a past Director of Kooba Holdings, LLC, and Prestige Brands. Mr. Richards received an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB degree cum laude from Harvard University.
