Bob Locklear

Bio

Bob Locklear is general partner and managing director of Agave Capital. Previously, Bob served as interim CEO of Teravicta Technologies. Prior to Teravicta, he collaborated on the incubation of Surgient Networks and served as Surgient's Vice President of Business Development and Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to Surgient, he held director positions in technology and engineering with Cisco Systems Inc’s DSL Business Unit and was Chief Technology Officer of NetSpeed Inc, which was acquired by Cisco Systems in 1998. Mr Locklear previously served on the boards of Discoverycom prior to Discoverycom's acquisition by Nokia Inc and Teracruz prior to the acquisition of Teracruz by Crossroads Systems. Bob holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and has been awarded 15 patents.
