Joined Balderton as a General Partner in 2007. Previously spent 18 years at Goldman Sachs and was a partner. At Goldman, held various roles including Global Head of Equity Capital Markets (2002 to 2005) and Vice-Chairman of Goldman Sachs International (2005 to 2006). Started to work with Balderton and its portfolio of companies in 2005 after becoming a non-executive director of Alphyra. In 2006, spent a period as non-executive chairman of Betfair. Since joining Balderton has joined the boards of other portfolio companies. Is a non-executive director of Yell Group plc and Sepura plc. Also a Governor of Wellington College and a Trustee of the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. Graduate of the University of Cambridge.
