Overview
Kipu is a quantum software company developing a new type of compression algorithms that will enable quantum computers to become useful 3-5 years earlier than existing conventional approaches. Their solution can be widely implemented directly at quantum hardware level and can then be tailored to multiple use cases, allowing Kipu to address the needs of both hardware manufactures and end users. Kipu is already running proof of concept (PoC) projects with clients such as chemical producer BASF, the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and Spanish telecom operator MasMovil. With its technology, the company can shorten the required computation time 2x and increase 5x the success probability with 100x lowered hardware requirements.
