Bio
Brian Long has over 25 years' operating experience in the technology industry, working in both the US and European markets. Brian founded Parthus Technologies plc (now CEVA Inc.) in 1993 and served as its CEO for nine years. In 2002, Brian led the company through the successful $150m Initial Public Offering of the company on both the LSE and NASDAQ stock markets. During his time at Parthus he managed the company through multiple realization events, five acquisitions and the successful $350 million secondary stock market offering in November 2000. He also completed the successful merger of the company with DSP Group to form CEVA Inc, the leading licensor of DSP technology in the industry. Brian has an extensive industry network of entrepreneurs and investors, across Europe and the US with whom he has worked for almost 25 years. In 2006 Brian co-founded with Elaine Coughlan GloNav Inc, a GPS semiconductor company, which he sold to NXP In January 2008 for $110M. In 2000 Brian was awarded Irish Technology Entrepreneur of the year. Brian is the named inventor on a number of US and European IC patents. Brian was Chairman of GloNav, and is a Director the boards of Acision, Firecomms, Accuris and Nanotech Semiconductors. Brian holds an undergraduate and masters degree in Electronic Engineering from Trinity College Dublin.Investments
