Bio

Chairman and CEO of Railpen. Also the Chief Executive of the Railways Pension Trustee Company, which runs the industry-wide pension arrangement for the UK’s railways and Chairman of its operating subsidiary rpmi. His team also advise on benefit design and strategic asset allocation for around 200 employer groups within the arrangements, and administer the pension benefits. Chairman of the National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF), and immediate past Chairman of both the NAPF Investment Council and the Institutional Shareholders Committee (ISC). Before joining Railpen in 1998, was a Principal at Aon Consulting, specialising in investment consultancy. Qualified actuary and holds a Mathematics degree from University of Durham.
