Bio
Having founded about.me and Sphere (both acquired by AOL), Tony brings founder and startup leadership expertise to his partner role at True. Early in his career, Tony spent a decade abroad in India, France, and Indonesia with Groupe Danone where he focused on brand extension opportunities through mergers and acquisitions in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Tony grew up in a small Indiana farming community. He’s worked a lot of jobs not listed on his resume, including short stints as a baseball umpire, basketball camp counselor, pharmacy stock person, high school sports reporter, book bindery glue machine operator, janitor, college newspaper ad salesman, and yogurt merchandiser, to name a few. He holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and a minor in business from Indiana University. He is also a board member of the Tony Hawk Foundation.Career
