Artiria has developed a micro-actuated device that allows treating vascular diseases with unprecedented accuracy, effectiveness and safety. Every year, more than 400'000 stroke treatments are carried out, and the patient's vascular system is used as an access route to deliver a treatment in the brain. However, current interventional devices do not provide sufficient control to the surgeon resulting in increased risk of complications, increased costs and increased surgery duration.
