Overview
Turn Energy has developed a novel, efficient reactor to reduce the carbon footprint of heavy industry. It produces green methane, which is also called renewable natural gas (RNG) because it uses renewable energy. The process combines carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2) and produces RNG (methane, CH4) and water (H2O). Placed next to an industrial plant, this reactor effectively allows the plant to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide going into the atmosphere. Capturing CO2 and turning it into RNG which can then be used by the plant as source of energy again, this innovative technology allows for a circular production process.
