Duane R Mason

Bio

A successful entrepreneur, Mr Mason formerly served as CEO of four venture-backed companies in the medical technology and services industries. Prior to co-founding Prism in 1996, Mr Mason was CEO of Delsys Pharmaceutical Corporation, a leading innovator of dry-powder drug delivery technology licensed from Sarnoff Laboratories. His earlier entrepreneurial pursuits include founding Innovative Surgical Products, which was sold to Allergan. He also conceptualized and launched Health & Care Products, a maker of ophthalmic accessory products, subsequently sold to a private company and he led the turnaround of Strato Medical, which was later acquired by Pfizer. Mr Mason's initial years in the medical industry were spent as Director of Manufacturing of American Hospital Supply Corporation's Medical Optics Division and in top-level manufacturing and purchasing positions with American Hospital Supply, Heyer-Schulte and Raytheon. Mr Mason's board seats include BioRexis Pharmaceutical Corp, Confirma, Insulet, Locus, Pharmaceuticals, MedManage Systems, Songbird Hearing. Mr Mason holds a BS in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
