Jana Messerschmidt invests in early stage companies, as well as advises. She sits at the intersection of business + technology, having held a variety of roles across engineering, business development, sales and marketing throughout her career. In 2018, she joined Lightspeed Venture Partners and focuses on early stage investing across a variety of industries. Jana served as Vice President of Global Business Development and Platform at Twitter where she was responsible for strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, developer relations, partner engineering and platform marketing. Prior to joining Twitter, Jana was Director of Business Development at Netflix where she focused on building Netflix's early streaming partnerships. Earlier in her career, she worked at both DivX and AT&T.
