Joined in 1989 from Coopers & Lybrand where he advised on venture capital-backed transactions within its corporate finance department, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Responsible for over 20 investments including Castlebeck, Tunstall, ClinPhone, Pharma-Bio Research, Priory Healthcare, Profiad, Verigen and MedNova and is a director on the board of Voyage Healthcare. In 2003/04, was a member of the Healthcare Industries Task Force's R&D working group, which made recommendations to strengthen the UK as an attractive location for R&D and manufacturing investment in the healthcare sector. Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, London. Chartered Accountant.
